To have my own image hosting and photo gallery website is something that has been on my mind for quite some time. As some you may know I am the webmaster of WaterMicron Industries, a manufacturer for Atmospheric Water Generators. While looking for some information about bottled and tab water to compare with the clean and pure drinking water their machines produce, I came across some very interesting and some funny as well as frightening facts. Thanks to pages like youtube or google video, I don’t have to bore you with a lot of text information, but instead show you here 4 of the most interesting videos on this matter.
It is my newest creation, and probably the best one so far. HomesThailand.com is a Thailand wide real estate website where real estate agents, real estate project, and home owners can advertise their properties for sale and rent. The best thing about it is that it is free for a basic listing, although we are targeting the big real estate agents and projects which have to pay a monthly fee for premium listings. It took about 7 months programming until the website went online for the first time. Some features are yet to come, and I estimate that I will be sitting for another year programming until all the features are completed.
At the moment the website is only being marketed in Hua Hin, as this is my home town and the few real estate agents that are listing properties are basically helping me making the system perfect for their needs. I was planning to release the website to the public in the beginning of November, but now it looks like the new year celebration will also the the official opening of the website
If you have ever tried to do business in Thailand, you will know how difficult and exhausting it can be to open up a business. This is now the 2nd months of paperwork procedure, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it will be January before I am holding all the papers of the company in my hands. This is one of the main reason, why I have decided to postpone the official opening of the website. Currently the business is running in the name of my beautiful (and soon to be mother) wife, but I don’t think that companies feel very good about doing business with a private Thai business, if they don’t know them personally…
